Grand Soleil Plus 80 Long Cruise flagship in build at Cantiere del Pardo

The 24-metre flagship will take the lead of the Plus range that comprises yachts over 60 feet. The name of the range reflects the increase in size, as well as the “new concept of excellence and customer care”
Retaining all the performance characteristics of Grand Soleil sailboats, the cruising type will stand out for more comfortable conditions on board. The naval architecture was developed by Matteo Polli, known as an optimizer of racing yachts, while interior design and layouts are owed to Nauta Design.

With an overall length of 23.99 m, the length of the GS Plus 80 LC’s hull excluding the bowsprit is 22.35 m, and the LWL is 19.84 m. The hull is strongly pointed at the bow to ensure a smooth entry into the wave, and it expands to 6.6 meters towards the midship and almost does not taper towards the stern, which made it possible to provide maximum interior volume.

The concept of the raised saloon with all the technical spaces located below it, serves the same goal. It allowed to free up more living space above, as well as to provide a 270-degree view, despite the fact that the deckhouse is quite low.

In addition to the spacious saloon, there are four guest cabins (with a master suite forward) and one crew cabin. There is also an alternative layout, with three guest cabins and two crew ones.

The galley, the chart table and the crew mess are separated from the guest area with a bulkhead and feature a separate access to the deck. There can be a tender garage at the stern, or it can be used as an extra storage space.

The yacht features a sloop rig with a sail wardrobe of 365 sq.m as standard, and a Code zero and second forestay for a storm jib as an option. The fact that all the lines are hidden under coamings makes the deck safer and neater. Two helm stations provide comfort of controlling the yacht when she heels, while the telescopic keel (with a fixed one available, too) offers a variable draft of 2.80 to 4.80 metres.

Construction on the first unit of the Grand Soleil 80 Long Cruise is already under way, and her launch is scheduled for 2026.
