About 100 large-format photographs will be displayed across Port Hercule during the Monaco Yacht Show 2025 for the visitors to have a look at the world of yachting through the renowned marine artist’s lens

“With ‘Tribute to Yachting’, we’re opening the Monaco Yacht Show to new forms of artistic expression — inviting visitors to rediscover yachting not only through its innovations or prestige, but through the deep emotions it stirs: wonder and connection. This collaboration with Guillaume Plisson reflects the MYS’s desire to celebrate the human side of yachting — the stories, the dreams, the quiet beauty that move us beyond the surface,” said Gaëlle Tallarida, Managing Director of Monaco Yacht Show.

Raised aboard a sailing boat, Guillaume Plisson published his first works in Paris Match, capturing the start of the legendary Fastnet race, when he was just 12. Later there was the America’s Cup, transatlantic races, around-the-world regattas, storms, lighthouses, unique photos of Aviva, Kismet, REV, Zeelander 7, Zeus… Plisson’s camera captures yachting in all its facets, demonstrating the power of design, the elegance of movement, and the promise of a lifestyle that is inspiring and unmatched.

“This exhibition was born from a shared desire with the Monaco Yacht Show: to offer an artistic and emotional perspective on the world of yachting. But none of this would have been possible without the concrete and steadfast support of the entire industry. Owners, shipyards, designers, crews… All contributed to making these images possible. By granting access to the yachts, sharing moments at sea, and allowing room for the intuition of my gaze, they have helped build, year after year, a visual memory of contemporary yachting. With the MYS, this exhibition was conceived as a condensed retrospective of this photographic journey—to reveal the diversity, emotions, and richness of a world often elusive — and as a grateful tribute to all those who embody the universe of yachting,” said Guillaume Plisson.

By weaving this new artistic narrative into the broader experience of the world’s main superyacht show, the MYS 2025 reasserts its core values of innovation, excellence and bespoke experiences and responds to the industry-wide aspiration: to inspire clients by renewing their sense of wonder and emotional connection with yachting.
