Atmosphere Core hospitality company has announced the official opening of Raaya By Atmosphere resort
The resort is nestled on the island of Kudakurathu, Raa atoll, and it takes just 45 minutes to get there from Male Velana International Airport by seaplane. The 875 х 530-metre island is a biosphere reserve: 88% of its area is covered by lush pristine tropical vegetation, which – along with the “home” reef – is carefully protected.
The guests can choose out of 167 beach and water villas, there is a kids club and six restaurants offering international cuisine. For those keen on active recreation there is an amazing opportunity to get soaked in the world of adventure and do water sports, explore the depths with a diving instructor, or go on an exhilarating ocean trip. If you want more peace and relaxation, opt for Elements of Nature spa centre or the powdery white beaches surrounding the island. After the sunset, you can go up one of the observation towers. They used to be watchtowers once, but are now used for stargazing or cozy private dinners.
