From April 7 to April 17, Cortile del Settecento at the University of Milan will be home to an immersive installation, where the Italian shipyard will literally set sails
Wind Labyrinth installation will appear as part of INTERNI CRE-ACTION exhibition event, devoted to the fusion of yachting, art, and sustainable innovation.
The installation, curated by Piero Lissoni, artistic director of Sanlorenzo, will feature a labyrinth of sails as a metaphor for the sea as a boundless space, where the wind guides exploration and defines the journey.

According to Lissoni’s idea, the sails arranged in a particular orde, will contribute to a harmonious dialogue between lightness and structure, evoking the continuous movement of the sea.
The goal of the project is to transport visitors into a dreamlike dimension, where the contrast of light and shadow, the transparency, and fluidity of the sails create an ethereal atmosphere, inviting the audience to go on an emotional journey.
The installation was designed to convey Sanlorenzo’s vision: to redefine the relationship between man, nature, and technology, through an aesthetic and design language increasingly focused on sustainability.
At the same time, Wind Labyrinth is a beautiful reference to Finnish Nautor Swan yard, which has recently become part of Sanlorenzo.

“With the Wind Labyrinth installation, through which we wanted to interpret and celebrate the essence of Nautor Swan, the latest star to join our galaxy, we aim to reaffirm our commitment to respecting the planet, where every element, from design to nature, contributes to an ecosystem of excellence and innovation,” said Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman of Sanlorenzo.
With this installation Sanlorenzo does not only strive to create a link between art, design and yachting, but to reaffirm its role as an ambassador of a future where elegance and sustainability coexist in perfect harmony. And the shipyard back up this position with real deeds, like launching the world’s first superyacht with the Reformer Fuel Cell system powered by green methanol; introducing the hydrogen-powered Bluegame BGH-HSV chase boat; or the winner of many prestigious eco awards, the Swan 88 DreamCatcher featuring an advanced diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system.
