The Antares 8 Fishing is far more sporty in style than the Antares 8 Cruising and boasts dedicated equipment for fishers

The aft bench has been replaced with a fishing station with professional-grade rod holders. In addition to the water circulation live bait well, there are three storage compartments under the deck, one of which can hold a fish box. A major new feature is the side access gate to starboard, which facilitates mooring manoeuvres, and allows fishermen to lift larger catches on board.

Both versions of the Antares 8 are very spacious for a boat of this size and can accommodate up to nine people on a day cruise. The model provides sleeping accommodation for up to five. There are two double berths, one in the forward cabin below deck and the other one in the wheelhouse. An extra berth can also be set up in the space under the saloon area.

The Beneteau Antares 8 Fishing is equipped with a single 250 hp outboard engine.
