Just like all the other latest Launch GT models from Chris-Craft, the Launch 28 GT bowrider has a new hull shape and an enlarged main cockpit
The boat may be equipped with an outboard engine or an inboard sterndrive (which is a little cheaper). The shipyard also offers the Launch 28 GT with Wake Surf Technology Package, which implies it is powered with Volvo 6.2L (380 hp) with a forward drive that is safe for a rider. The boat also has a ballast system, Wake Worx Surf Tabs and other wakesurfing gear. Unlike entry-level models the Launch 28 GT has a toilet onboard, which definitely makes it more comfortable. Both cockpits boast lots of convertible seats and sunpads with lockers beneath and optional removable tables. To protect the main cockpit from the sun, one can choose either a bimini tent, or a stationary hardtop or a retractable tower, allowing one to lower the height, which is quite handy in transportation or when passing under low bridges.
