The Darwin 102 manufactured by Italian Cantiere delle Marche is created for extraordinary and safe voyages to the most remote areas of the world.
The series is designed to cater to diverse interests and needs of their owners. The first Darwin 102, the Galego, was launched in 2017. Six hulls have been built by 2024.
The length of the yacht is 30.8 m, the beam is 7.43 m, and the draft is 2.55 m. The exterior and naval architecture were developed by Italian Hydro Tec studio. Each hull in Darwin 102 series features custom interior.
The displacement hull is made of steel, the superstructure is of aluminium. The yacht has three decks and an individually designed sundeck that can host lounging and dining areas, a bar, a pool, an open-air gym, etc.
The upper deck is home to a wheel house, a captain’s cabin (or an additional VIP cabin), an informal saloon and an open aft terrace, which can also be used for storing additional watercraft.
The main deck houses a main saloon with a dining area, a galley and an owner’s suite forward.
The lower deck is dedicated to the guests (up to eight in four cabins) and crew (up to six in total)
The Darwin 102 is equipped with conventional twin Caterpillar C18 diesel engines, which provide a top speed of 13 knots. The fuel capacity is 41 800 litres, which ensures a range of 3960 nautical miles at 10 knots.
