This model has been designed to offer the owner, guests and crew the utmost comfort in long travels. Like all Cantiere delle Marche explorer yachts, the Darwin 115 is equipped with advanced systems, including waste management and energy-efficient machinery to minimize the environmental footprint.
The first hull of the Darwin 115 was launched in 2021. The length of the yacht is 35 m, the beam is 7.70 m, and the draft is 2.60 m.
The exterior and the naval architecture were developed by Hydro Tec. The displacement hull is made of steel, the superstructure is of aluminium. The yacht has three decks and a sundeck of 100 sq.m. that can house sun pads, a dining area, and a bar with a barbecue. Each hull has custom interior and layout.
The upper deck features a helm station, a captain’s cabin and can house a skylounge, a gym, a terrace with an al fresco dining area, etc. The aft deck can also be used as storage for tenders and water toys.
The main deck features a saloon, a dining area and a forward owner’s suite with floor-to-ceiling windows and extra insulation to reduce noise and vibrations. The lower deck includes a full-beam VIP suite and two or three guest cabins. There are also crew quarters for seven. A large swim platform is surrounded by a high partially fold-down bulwark.
The Darwin 115 is equipped with a conventional propulsion system that provides a maximum speed of 13 knots. The fuel capacity is 55 400 litres, which ensures a range of 5000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
