Heesen 50m Aluminium Semi-Displacement
About Heesen 50m Aluminium Semi-Displacement
The 50m Aluminium Semi-Displacement first introduced as superyacht Aquamarine in 2021 is a fast-cruising model by Heesen Yachts from the Netherlands
The length of the vessel is 49.98 m, the beam is 9 m, and the draft is 2.15 m.
The modern exterior was developed by Omega Architects, and the interior is from Cristiano Gatto Design. The naval architecture is by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.
The semi-displacement hull and the superstructure are made of aluminium to reduce weight and enhance performance. The internal volume is 499 GT.
The interior social space is made up of a skylounge on the bridge deck and a main saloon. There are open recreation areas on the sundeck, foredeck, aft cockpit and beach club. When the yacht is on the move the beach club serves as storage space for a tender and a jet ski.
The 50m Aluminium Semi-Displacement provides sleeping accommodation for 10-12 guests in five cabins, including a full-beam owner’s stateroom on the main deck, two double and two twin guest cabins with ensuite bathrooms on the lower deck.
With 2 x MTU 16V 4000 M65L (IMO Tier III) engines of 3480 hp each, fitted with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) units to reduce NOx emissions, the model can reach a top speed of 23 knots. The fuel capacity is 54 000 litres, which ensures a range of 3100 nautical miles at 11 knots.
The aft garage accommodates a 6.5 m tender, a jet ski and a collection of water toys.
