Heesen 50m Steel Displacement
About Heesen 50m Steel Displacement
First presented in 2018 as superyacht Omaha, this 50m Steel Displacement is actually a 49.9 m engineering platform with a steel displacement hull and an aluminium superstructure developed by Heesen Yachts shipyard from the Netherlands
At the moment, there are three superyachts in the range – Omaha, Arkadia and Ocean Z.
The 50m Steel Displacement features a beam of 9 m and a draft of 2.75 m. Her exterior was penned by Clifford Denn Design, her interior was developed by Reymond Langton Design, and her naval architecture stemmed from the drawing board of her builder, Heesen Yachts.
She can comfortably accommodate up to 10-12 guests across a five stateroom configuration, including a spacious owner’s cabin on the main deck forward. The crew quarters can accommodate a staff of nine. The main saloon houses a dedicated lounge and a dining area, complete with seating for up to 10 guests, ideal for hosting formal dinner parties onboard. The upper saloon is more private.
The interior from British studio Reymond Langton Design is characterized by clean lines and surfaces.
The 50m Steel Displacement is powered by twin MTU 8V 4000 M63 engines for a top speed of 15 knots and a range of 3800 nautical miles at 12 knots. Additional zero-speed stabilisers ensure increased comfort on board.
