Heesen 57m Aluminium FDHF
About Heesen 57m Aluminium FDHF
Project Akira is the first motor superyacht of the new 57m Aluminium FDHF series, which Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts promises to show in 2024
The length of the boat is 56.7 m, the beam is 10.3 m, and the draft is only 2.3 m, which makes it suitable for use in shallow waters like, for example, the Bahamas.
Her elegant and contemporary exterior was developed by Omega Architects, and the interior in a calm and minimalistic style was designed by Harrison Eidsgaard. The hull design is by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.
The fast displacement hull (FDHF) and the superstructure are made of aluminium, which makes the model effective in various speed modes.
The internal volume of the vessel is 778 GT.
The interior spaces include two saloons (on the main deck and a skylounge on the bridge deck), as well as the beach club with a bar and a lounge. One of the yacht's features is the central staircase around the glass lift shaft connecting all three decks. Outdoor recreation areas are located on the sundeck, as well as in the aft of the main deck and the bridge deck. The space on the foredeck can be used for the storage of a tender and a jet ski.
The 57m Aluminium FDHF provides comfortable accommodation for up to 12 guests in six cabins, including a full-beam master suite on the main deck, a VIP cabin on the bridge deck and four guest rooms on the lower deck (two doubles and two twins). All cabins are equipped with ensuite bathrooms. There is additional space on board for a crew of 13.
Powered by a pair of MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines, the yacht will be able to reach a cruising speed of 15 knots and a top speed of 22 knots. The fuel capacity is 80 000 litres, which will ensure a range of 4400 nautical miles at 12 knots.
