Sunseeker Superhawk 55
About Sunseeker Superhawk 55
It took Sunseeker over 15 years to rethink the idea of open sport cruisers
At last, at boot Düsseldorf 2023 they unveiled the Superhawk 55. Even before the premiere the shipyard had sold over 20 units of this model – can’t think of other modern shipyards that can boast such a result. And not without reason: the shipyard has done incredible work starting from the hull elaboration for more responsive and tight handling to well-thought-out zones on board with original layouts of the main deck and below. The optional hardtop protects the boat, but does not make it less open. The convertible areas aft and forward are versatile, and the triple helm reminds one that high-speed maneuvering is one of the best ways to have fun on this boat.
Below deck there is a decent kitchen and a dining room/lounge, as well as the unprecedented spaciousness and stunning interior finish. The owner can also choose which of the two staterooms will be their own: at the bow or amidships.
The Superhawk 55’s top speed of 40 knots is a little bit lower than 50 knots that the previous models can boast, but the owners definitely win in terms of comfort – it will just suffice to mention the swim platform, the tender garage for Williams Minijet and the stowage for water toys.
