The fast-displacement superyacht with a beam of 12 m and a draft of 3.5 m is maximum sleek: the designer avoided sharp angles and steep contours as much as possible
Despite the length of 75 metres, the yacht does not look massive, largely due to the soft, rounded shapes that start with a subtly reverse bow and are followed by unusual glazing and sleek aft elements.
Mert Urhan seems to challenge modern yacht design that is often sharp, nervous and angular, to play on the contrast.
In line with the exterior, the designer found his unconventional approach to interior spaces, too, prioritizing the ceilings and interior walls as design elements.
“From a yacht user's perspective, ceilings are the largest surface areas visible to the eye. The ceilings have been integrated with the windows to affect the silhouette of the yacht. At night, it merges with the sky, creating a starry ambience which inspired the superyacht's name,” explains the designer.
Special attention has also been given to a foredeck, which is home to a lounge, green plants, sun-loungers and an infinity pool offering amazing panoramic views. Among other peculiarities of the project, one should also mention an al fresco observation lounge on the upper deck, an unusual aft part with a jacuzzi equipped with a telescopic gangway that can be converted into a sunbathing platform, as well as a beach club brought midships, which can be increased with the help of two side platforms offering the guests an opportunity to relax right by the water.
