The Flybridge 98 was conceived as a poetic retreat in the open sea, where design, nature and the human spirit co-exist in harmony
The yacht’s exterior styling and architecture were developed by Chinese SuperTomato Design in collaboration with Allegro Yachts’ design division and Swiss-Italian naval architect Davide Leone.
Inspired by Laozi’s belief that “the highest virtue is like water”, the designers embraced the idea of water’s duality as the basis of their search for a balance between aesthetics and functionality.
The vessel’s streamlined profile and dark grey paintwork make it look really masculine. However, the superstructure’s fluid lines make one think of waves, and the smart deck layouts invite the guests to relax and have a good time.
The flybridge partially sheltered with a hard top (which also has a sliding section) is home to an upper helm station, a lounge, a bar and a sunbathing area. The cockpit is rather compact, but the lounging area forward is quite spacious. There is a jacuzzi surrounded with ample sunpads and a seating group with coffee tables right on the foredeck – a perfect spot for admiring sea views.
The main saloon features accesses from three sides, while the fold-down bulwarks opposite the glass doors make the interior feel “transparent” and let fresh sea air in.
With a length of 29.50 m and a beam of 7.20 m (the draft is 1.97 m), the yacht is large enough for four guest cabins, as well as a KTV room, a study and a game room.
The interior features mainly pure colors and smooth textures: there's plenty of glass, chrome surfaces and glossy leather. One should also note elegant custom-made furniture across all the living spaces. The sofas, armchairs and table tops feature fluid shapes and look like art objects.
The Flybridge 98 will be powered by twin 1,136 hp engines, or 1,400 hp ones as an option. Her performance characteristics will be revealed after the sea trials. The yacht is scheduled for launch in 2027.
