Italian Hydro Tec studio has unveiled the concept of the 48-metre Sagasu superyacht. While creating the exterior, the designers were inspired by Japanese art
The concept’s name "Sagasu" stands for the Japanese search for something necessary and acquiring the desired. The colour range of the exterior is a skillful and harmonious combination of grey and white, interrupted by black glazing and graphic elements that seem to have been hewn out in the hull with a samurai sword.
The high bow of the yacht gracefully raked to the upper deck level makes it look more confident and reliable, but the yacht is completely open from the stern. The master suite is located on the upper deck forward, and its panoramic glazing and open area on the foredeck with a lounge, a pool and a sunpad give the owner plenty of privacy even when there are a lot of guests on board.
The interior design is minimalist style and of natural colour palette, which creates a calm and relaxed atmosphere on board. Thanks to large windows the interior spaces are full of light and flow seamlessly into outdoor areas, which have been given special attention. Among numeros features one should mention the multilevel beach club with a pool and folding terraces, descending to the sea step by step.
The designers thought of four different layouts and claim that the project has ‘numerous customisation possibilities’. It is also known that the gross tonnage won’t exceed 500 GT.
