Italian Benetti shipyard started work on the 67-metre Project Rinascimento (FB 284) back in 2020
Although it is a true custom yacht, it is based on a “platform” used for building the Metis yacht, which has collected numerous awards, but is of a slightly smaller size (63 metres).
The exterior of Project Rinascimento with an abundance of horizontal lines and a vertical bow was developed by Giorgio M. Cassetta, while the interior and naval architecture were created in-house. Lady A’s interior features an unusual combination of such timbres as curly maple and Macassar ebony. Carrara white and black Saint Laurent marbles are also used quite extensively.
The six-deck Lady A is meant for accommodating 14 guests in seven cabins and a crew of 19. All of the upper deck is dedicated to the owner, including a master cabin, a private study and two bathrooms.
In addition to the main saloon and a generous open recreation area in the aft cockpit, the main deck also houses two VIP cabins. There are four guest cabins below deck. Lady A is definitely meant for major entertainment events, as it features ample open deck space and even a dedicated “party deck”.
At the same time, just like most of the newest superyachts a lot of attention is paid to recreation by the water and spa. There is a spacious beach club with a hammam and a wellness area, as well as a sundeck of almost 90 sq.m. with a jacuzzi bath and sunpads.
The lowest deck out of six is dedicated to technical purposes and stowage of everything one might need during long voyages, as Lady A’s range is about 5000 nautical miles with a fuel capacity of 110000 litres. With twin Caterpillar engines of 1824 hp each the yacht can reach a top speed of 15 knots.
