The newly launched 59.5-metre Feadship Project 713 is fitted with a high-efficiency diesel-electric power system

She has the ability to run on non-fossil HVO (hydrated vegetable oil), which ensures reduced CO2 emission.  The energy necessary for propulsion and onboard systems’ work is provided by two Caterpillar engines, four generators and a 400 kWh battery.

In addition, the roof is fitted with solar panels utilizing the most efficient silicon cells available. They ensure both optimal performance and durability. The panels are custom-made in the Netherlands and are capable of producing up to 24 MWh annually. This is another step by Feadship towards its goal of being climate neutral by 2030.

Another eco-friendly novelty is the use of FSC-certified plantation teak for all the decking, meaning the wood is harvested in a sustainable way. And the hull form is optimised for a cruising speed of 15 knots, instead of a top speed.  According to the yard, the Feadship Project 713 has a range of 5000 nautical miles.

Project 713 features a well-balanced exterior from De Voogt studio with a white superstructure and a grey-blue hull with a beam of 10.80 m and a draft 3.18 m. The interior developed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design will be modern. The yacht is due for delivery in 2024.
