The news about the collaboration of the Italian shipyard and the designer was unveiled back in 2023, when construction on the superyacht had already started. But later the Project Metamorphosis was resold and upgraded, and the delivery was rescheduled from 2024 to 2025

To work on the ice-class superyacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure Giorgio Armani teamed up with Centro Stile, which is TISG design division.

The vessel features a distinctive exterior characteristic of the designer, combining geometric volumes, curved surfaces and vast glazing areas.

According to the shipyard, one of the goals of the project was to find the balance between the minimalist aesthetics and advanced technologies, while the unusual colour of the hull and superstructure, as well as the entire exterior of the superyacht, make her stand out immediately.

While the bow section of the superstructure looks strict and closed, the top levels aft are designed as a “suspended terrace”, which allowed for a spacious lounge area and a helipad.

The interior design of the vessel with an internal volume of 2000 GT is owed to Armani/Casa. The focus is on the minimalist colour palette, contrasting exquisite materials and handcrafted surfaces, creating an “intimate, sophisticated and timeless atmosphere”. Among the fine materials used for the finishes there are Black Marquinia and Calacatta marbles, Canaletto walnut, as well as mirrors, artisanal lighting and luxurious fabrics.

The superyacht can accommodate up to 14 guests across seven cabins and a crew of up to 20. The side garage located at the bow is ready to accommodate tenders and water toys.

“This yacht represents the confluence of Giorgio Armani’s poetic elegance and The Italian Sea Group’s technical excellence. A creative journey that has turned a dream into a reality that sails the seas with grace,” said TISG founder and CEO, Giovanni Costantino.

Based on the information from the shipyard, the yacht’s range is about 6000 nautical miles. The yard promises to share more details of the project after her official debut at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025, scheduled for 24-27 September.
