The ClubSwan 43 was conceived as a crossover capable of competing in the most captivating races worldwide, but ensuring the level of comfort of a cruising yacht
Designed by Juan Kouyoumdjian, the ClubSwan 43 is meant both for enthusiasts and professionals.
"The project began with the aim of creating a yacht that performs not only in One Design but also within the ORC classes. The task was not easy, but we have come up with a design that satisfies both of these racing worlds, thanks in part to the continuous discussions we had with sailors and end users, which have improved the entire project”, says Juan Kouyoumdjian.
The ClubSwan 43 hull, the hull structure and the deck are built using vinylsester infusion with carbon reinforcements. The hull structure is made in a single part through infusion, which ensures lower weight and more strength. Besides, the yacht features a high modulus carbon fibre mast and boom, whie the bowsprit is made of prepreg carbon both for the racing version and the cruising one.
Speaking of racing features, one should mention a deep keel recess and a high-performance rudder, engineered for perfect hydrodynamic efficiency. The Finnish builder fought for every single detail of the ClubSwan 43 to optimize performance and responsiveness.
Spacious and elegantly furnished interiors of the ClubSwan 43 were designed by Micheletti+Partners studio. There is comfortable accommodation for six people, adaptable both for extended cruising and racing. Besides, the design allows the owner to remove up to 80% of the interior for the race and then return it.
