The customer is a “highly experienced owner”, who wanted a boat for cruises in "Dutch canals and northern waters" in warm weather
The exterior design of the cruiser with a low profile and a generous hull was developed by Dutch Bernd Weel Design studio. According to the shipyard, they managed to retain most of the sporty character and dynamic characteristics of the Xtreme 78 Sport, but made it more “Mediterranean-orientated” and moved the focus to outdoor living.
The immense full-beam flybridge is likely to become one of the main gathering and socializing points, as it is capable of accommodating up to 12 guests. Some of them might want to sunbathe in the chaises longues flanking the helm station, others might choose to relax in the shade provided by the hardtop or a sliding canvas roof. And after dark the view from the flybridge will be fantastic thanks to the underwater lighting around the vessel.
With a length of 23.9 m and a beam of 6.18 m the Brute can boast a spacious master suite amidships, two VIP cabins and another guest cabin forward. The interiors of the yacht were developed by Dutch Kitty van der Kamp Design in collaboration with the owner, who was provided with a wide selection of natural and composite materials. At present it is known that the customer chose the aesthetics of art-deco style, used mainly solid wood and preferred a light colour scheme, mainly of beige and cream shades.
As for the technical specifications that are available at present, there is an aluminium hydraulic platform at the stern that is capable of lifting and launching a tender up to 1000 kg. With twin Volvo-Penta IPS 1350 of 1000 hp each the Brute is capable of reaching a top speed of 26 knots. At a cruising speed of 20 knots the new cruiser will have a range of about 440 nautical miles.
