The Forte 47, unveiled at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2025, is positioned as a versatile cruiser equally suitable for a thrilling ride and a leisurely weekend
The steep metallic sides are already gleaming in the sun, as well as the glossy black hardtop, and almost everything is ready below deck: the yacht is to hit the water one of these days.
“Seeing the Forte 47 take shape is truly exciting,” says Fernando Moricca, co-founder of Forte Yachts. “Every detail, from the exterior lines to the interior finishes, reflects our philosophy: unique design, tailor-made quality, and absolute attention to detail. Only a few final steps remain before we can launch it and finally show it to the world.”
The Forte 47 is quite compact with a length of 14.35 m and a beam of 4.50 m, but planned as meticulously as a superyacht. Thanks to the versatility of aluminium, the layouts can be tailored to individual needs. The naval architecture and engineering are owed to Umberto Tagliavini Marine Design.
The interior design by Paolo Giordano started with full-scale mock-ups, a selection of premium materials and involvement of a team of highly-qualified craftsmen more characteristic of the superyacht world.
There are two guest suites below deck, while the social spaces have been moved outdoors. Right behind the control panel in the shade of the hardtop there is a multifunctional space that can serve both as a saloon, a dining room (there’s an adjustable table) and even a cinema. And that is not all. The bulwarks all along the lounge (which is almost half the entire length) can fold down to form a beach club with a bar right over the waves.
There are sunpads both aft and forward, as well as a broad swim platform and retractable ladders, so the lounging area by the water is comparable to much larger vessels.
The Forte 47 will be available in two configurations: a Lounge Deck with an enclosed saloon and two inboard Volvo Penta IPS D8-800 engines and Gran Turismo version with three 600 hp Mercury V12 outboards and a top speed of 45 knots.
