This 22,18 m expedition yacht was launched in December 2023. Now it is at the final stage of all onboard systems test and crew training
In terms of design, the Bering 72 is a classical explorer with a steel hull and rugged, trawler-type lines. The shipyard developed this model based on a more compact, but ever-popular Bering 65. In addition to expanding the space on board, they introduced numerous other enhancements based on the feedback collected from the Bering 65 owners and captains.
The Bering 72 is meant to accommodate six guests in three cabins below deck. There are also crew quarters for two. The main deck houses a saloon and a helm station, while between them there is a full-beam well-appointed galley with a stowage space enough for everything you might need on a long trip far away from civilization.
In addition to the upper helm station the flybridge houses a generous dining area, an area for sun loungers and a space for storing two tenders, which can be easily launched with the help of a hydraulic crane.
With fuel capacity of 24 000 litres, the Bering 72 has a range of over 4000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of eight knots. The top speed is 10 knots, and the shipyard emphasizes the fact that the boat boasts a minimal level of noise and vibration on board.
