The Project 824 is the second largest Feadship superyacht built at the Kaag facility, following the 101.50-metre Symphony unveiled in 2015
For now the shipyard is reluctant to share the details of the new project and just says that it “stands out through a combination of scale, innovation and detail”.

The Project 824’s exterior features smooth lines and an almost vertical bow, which is so characteristic of Finnish designer Jarkko Jämsen, who has previously collaborated with the Dutch shipyard on the successful 77.25-metre Syzygy 818.
The interiors of the superyacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure are owed to French Liagre studio, while the naval architecture traditionally comes from Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects.

While the shipyard keeps most of the details under wraps and just demonstrates the first photos of the vessel on the water, one can highlight only the exterior features of the new project. For instance, there is a slanted transom with a grand staircase coming up to the large pool on the main deck aft, and large side doors, which most probably lead to the beach club.
It looks like the garage for the tender and water toys is located forward, while the free foredeck can be used as a helipad.
Another interesting solution is the long overhangs aft, featuring large rectangular cutouts meant for letting more sunlight into the areas located below them.

The Project 824’s diesel-electric propulsion together ABB pod drives will ensure efficiency and a low level of noise and vibration.
At present, the 100-metre superyacht with a beam of 13.60 m and a draft of 4.10 m is getting ready for sea trials in the North Sea, after which she will be delivered to her owner.
