The Ximena, built in Turkey for an American owner, hit the water in the autumn of 2025 and has already passed her first transoceanic “test” – the crossing from the Mediterranean to Florida – with flying colours
The dynamic exterior lines, arrow-like profile and distinctive pelican bill bow designed by Omega Architects convey the boat’s energetic character perfectly. The fast displacement hull developed by Van Oossanen Naval Architects ensures not only confident performance in any weather conditions, but fuel efficiency, too. With twin MTU TIER III 16V 2000 M96L engines, the Ximena boasts a top speed of 22.6 knots, a cruising speed of 20 knots and an economy mode of 12 knots for long-range voyages. The draft of 2.1 m makes her a perfect vessel for exploring cosy bays and straits in shallow archipelagos like those in the Caribbean.
The yacht’s exterior was designed for a laid-back al fresco lifestyle typical of Florida, where the owner is based, so the lounging and sunbathing areas take up two and a half decks. The jacuzzi tub and vast sunpads on the sundeck come complete with a spacious lounge in the cockpit and an unusually broad swimming platform aft. Next to the raised pilothouse there is also a bar.
The accommodation includes four guest cabins below deck and a master suite on the main deck forward. There is also a glass-fronted gym below, a side tender garage and quarters for a crew of seven.
Generous glazing fills the owner’s suite and the spacious saloon with natural light, while the well-thought-out tint protects both from the sun and prying eyes. The yacht’s contemporary interior is owed to the newbies in the industry, Miami-based Yodezeen studio.
“Presenting Ximena at Palm Beach is a proud moment for our entire team,” said Gökhan Çelik, president of Alia Yachts. “She embodies our approach to true full-custom building, performance-driven, architecturally distinctive and meticulously tailored to her owner’s vision. We look forward to welcoming guests on board for her global premiere”.
The Ximena will be available for viewing at the Palm Beach International Boat Show on the east coast of Florida, US, on March 25-29.
