In 2024 French Beneteau shipyard is celebrating its 140th anniversary
Largely thanks to this milestone, the brand decided to expand its model range with the unusual First 30 sailing model. She features the same size and name as the first series of sport yachts named First launched back in 1977.
As opposed to her predecessor, the new First 30 is not only meant for racing, but for comfortable cruising, too. At the same time this lightweight and maneuverable boat is capable of reaching high speeds and planing.
At full speed the yacht’s hull rises, minimizing its contact with water and drag, and creating a feeling of gliding above the surface. Every maneuvre gets smoother and more responsive, ensuring thrilling and unforgettable moments at sea.
The length of the new First 30 is 10.33 m, and its displacement is 3.15 ton. The transparent superstructure and easy rigging make navigation fun and intuitive. The new First 30 is perfect both for cruises and regattas, with additional options available for racers to optimize her performance.
On choosing a more suitable layout – either a cruising or a racing version – one can adapt it to their individual needs. For instance, the cruising version features larger winches and ergonomic controls to simplify handling, while the racing one includes a mainsail traveller for more accurate trimming.
There are two cabins for four below deck, as well as quite a spacious saloon, a head, a well-appointed galley and smart storage spaces.
With the Premium Pack option offering a variety of colours and interior materials, as well as mood lighting, one can create a more elegant and stylish interior.
The premiere of the First 30 model is to take place at boot Düsseldorf 2025, which will take place from 18 to 26 January 2025.
