The shipyard believes its new flagship is “the purest and most complete expression of the crossover concept initiated by the BGX73 and BGX63”
The BGX83’s dynamic, athletic profile lines evoke immediate associations with Zuccon International Project, which has been working on the brand’s style and its signature “rugged elegance”. The BGX83, which is larger, bolder and more luxurious than her predecessors, combines the features of an explorer and a sports yacht. According to her creators, she’s absolutely “owner-centric” and seems to anticipate their wishes, offering unprecedented volumes and uncompromising functionality.
Luca Santella, founder of Bluegame (now part of the Sanlorenzo Group) and Head of Product Strategy, does not conceal his satisfaction with the model: “With the BGX83, we pushed the crossover philosophy to its absolute limit. We created a genuine apartment on the water where the perception of inside and outside disappears. From the expandable beach club to the full-beam master suite, every line is designed to deliver a superyacht experience in an 83-foot yacht."
With a length of 25.6 m and a beam of 6.3 m, the Bluegame BGX83 can boast four outdoor lounges. On the flydeck, which is home to the second helm station, one can both sunbathe and have dinner, as the central part of the sunpad can transform into a long table. The upper deck also offers a spot for dining (aft) and sunpads with coffee tables (forward), while the enclosed saloon is sure to impress with its panoramic 360-degree glazing.
The main deck offers the guests a huge beach area, which is almost a quarter of the yacht’s length and can get even larger with the help of the fold-down platform.
Another innovative layout solution is the “garage in the cockpit”: the tender and water toys are stored below deck aft, freeing it up for lounging and socialising.
One should also mention the asymmetric deck design. It features a single staircase on the starboard side, which maximises the dining area and creates space for a customizable outdoor bar and kitchen unit, thus adding another personalization opportunity for the owner.
In accordance with the owner’s demands, the model can offer three or four guest cabins. The interior of the first unit is owed to Piero Lissoni.
Thanks to three Volvo Penta IPS 1200 engines (D13 900 hp), the yacht can boast a top speed of up to 30 knots and a cruising speed of 28 knots.
“BGX83 is the clearest statement of who we are today”, said Carla Demaria, Bluegame CEO. “The very first units are already secured by clients prior to launch, to loyal Bluegame owners now embarking on their third Bluegame journey. This level of trust and loyalty is our greatest achievement, and it confirms that BGX83 is not just a flagship, but a milestone for the brand."
