Greek Technohull company has announced the arrival of a new model in Alpha series
The Alpha 40 embodies the same design philosophy as the larger, 15-metre Alpha 50 presented earlier. This time, huge deck spaces and diverse lounging areas have been fitted into a 12-metre boat. The demand for the model is so high, that the shipyard has signed contracts for the construction of 28 units before the official launch.
Just like the flagship model, the new boat can boast a large windshield connected to the aerodynamic carbon hardtop. This construction provides efficient protection from the wind, spray and sun for the helm station.
It features two 12-inch multifunction displays and three sit/stand chairs with bolsters. Various other configurations are available, including two rows of three bucket seats.
The aft of the cockpit offers a few different layout options, too, depending on the owner’s preferences and whether the boat is powered by inboard or outboatd engines. Both options are available, offering a total power of up to 1000 hp. Unfortunately, the yard has not revealed the speed characteristics yet. The fuel capacity is 800 L, and water capacity is 130 L.
Below deck, the Alpha 40 offers a spacious cabin with a generous double berth and a separate head compartment with a headroom of 1.85 m. The yacht can sleep two people, but as a day boat, the Alpha 40 is capable of accommodating up to 12 passengers.
