The new Baltic 107 Catamaran is an important milestone for Finnish Baltic Yachts, which has been a world leader in the production and development of high-performance, luxurious composite sailing yachts for over half a century

Until recently the shipyard has been building only monohulls, and the Baltic 107 Catamaran is its first multihull project. The contract for the construction of the vessel with a length of 33 m and a beam of 13 m was signed in June 2024, when the design and engineering stages were already at an advanced stage. The construction is to begin in September, and the delivery is scheduled for the summer of 2027.

“She will be very much an explorer yacht with exceptionally high levels of comfort, beauty and reliability as well as some groundbreaking developments in efficiency,” said Baltic Yachts sales director Kenneth Nyfelt.

Among the key features of the Baltic 107 Catamaran there are pivoting centreboards that will enable her to explore shallow waters freely; low levels of noise throughout the owner’s and guests’ accommodation, and unobstructed 360° views from her saloon. All sailing systems will be controlled from the crew areas on the flybridge. The catamaran will have low energy consumption at anchor and be able to regenerate electricity with her propellers while she is under sail (hydrogeneration).

The Baltic 107 Catamaran will boast a high level of autonomy and independence of shore services. The shipyard also promises excellent performance characteristics even in light winds.
