The name of Saetta, which is the Italian for “arrow” or “lightning”, underscores the features of the new yacht’s exterior and performance characteristics
The vessel’s beautiful aerodynamic profile and expressive glazing shape are owed to Bologna-based SY Design studio that the shipyard had never collaborated with before. The architecture was developed by the Product Strategy Department led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department. The interior was entrusted to Milan-based ACPV ARCHITECTS strategic consultation from the in-house Custom Line Atelier.
The yard describes the project as a “new made-to-measure prototype in the Saetta line”, which implies inherent customisation opportunities.
“We want to offer Custom Line owners ever higher standards of well-being, liveability and personalisation of the onboard experience," said chief commercial officer at Ferretti Group, Giordano Pellacani. “Custom Line Saetta 128 perfectly embodies our approach to growth, raising the level of every project and in this case extending a hugely successful range while maximising its strong points".
One of the new model’s highlights is the upper deck, which is home to a sky lounge with a closed saloon of about 20 sq.m, overlooking a stern terrace of 40 sq.m. At the bow, there’s a lounge of 25 sq.m, which can be fitted with a jacuzzi tub.
There are spots for sunbathing both on the sundeck and on the lower deck aft, where the swim platform is located next to the garage that can accommodate a Williams DieselJet 565, jet ski and various water toys.
The Saetta 128 can accommodate up to 10 guests. The master suite of 37 sq.m is located on the main deck forward, while three VIP cabins and one guest cabin are below deck.
The interior styling is available in two different “moods”. There is a Classic Mood with oak woods, wallpapers with a linear pattern and smooth surfaces, which looks more reserved and respectable. There is also a Perfect Mood, featuring brighter colours and materials like fine walnut and maple parquet, white Sivec marble, ivory wallpaper with a three-dimensional texture lacquer of chocolate and mocha shades.
The yacht will be powered by twin MTU 16V 2000 M96L engines of 2,638 hp, delivering a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 19 knots. For more comfort onboard the vessel will be fitted with trim interceptors. Gyroscopic stabilisers are available as an option.
The Saetta 128’s launch and delivery are scheduled for 2026.
