The Riva 70 Metri will have a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, and offer her owner “state-of-the-art technology solutions, refined design and peerless comfort”

Italian shipbuilders promise elegant lines, “innovative volumes”, excellent performance and sustainability. The Riva 70 Metri will feature the latest generation hybrid propulsion, heat recovery technology and a PTO (power take off) /PTI (power take in) system.

Great emphasis has also been made on the acoustic comfort, as well as innovative noise and vibration reduction and stabilization solutions.

The owner of the Riva 70 Metri is a loyal Riva customer and “a great fan of the brand”, who worked closely with the shipyard’s team in order to make his dream come true.

“Riva 70 Metri promises to set the bar for thrilling experiences in the years to come. She’s a superyacht of timeless beauty that will take the magnificent universe of Riva’s style features and detailing into a new dimension, combining it with cutting-edge navigation and environmental sustainability technology,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi about the future flagship of the brand in a traditionally high-flown manner.

The project was developed by Officina Italiana Design studio in close collaboration with the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

“The sophisticated and extremely selective owner had a very clear idea: to build a timeless boat with classic lines and a green spirit for cruising in a style that fully respects the sea. He had been impressed by the Riva 50METRI and dreamed of a design inspired by it, one dominated by aesthetics and beyond the fashions and market logic that so often influence the creation of a new product. So we embraced this challenge with enthusiasm and conviction, because these values represent our firm’s DNA and form part of our design philosophy,” commented Mauro Micheli, Chief Designer at Officina Italiana Design.

It has been announced that construction on the Riva 70 Metri will take place at the yard’s facility in Ancona, where all 50-90-metre steel and aluminium yachts are built not only for Riva, but other Ferretti Group brands like Pershing, CRN and Custom Line, too.
