Hull and superstructure joined on Lazzara UHV 100 superyacht
The idea behind the UHV series is to make the yachts as voluminous as possible, offering the owners an opportunity to get onboard spaces comparable to far larger boats
The Lazzara UHV 87 that was unveiled in 2022 in Cannes has proved that the concept of “ultra high volume” yachts is viable, and now the second semi-displacement model in UHV 100 series is being built on spec.
The two models have similar design features, with a key difference being a large jacuzzi on the foredeck. By the way, thanks to the high bow in addition to the pilot house, it was also possible to arrange a decent saloon, an al fresco dining area and a lounge with sofas, sunpads and tables by the pool.
On the main deck in addition to a lounge and a dining area there is also a galley and a spacious master cabin with two wardrobes and a bathroom. There are four more guest cabins below deck, where there is enough space for a beach club and quarters for a crew of five.
The interiors that are currently being outfitted feature large windows and the abundance of light wooden surfaces.
With twin Volvo Penta D13 engines the provisional top speed of the yacht will be 16 knots, while the cruising one is 12. The standard version is powered by 800 hp engines, but there is also an option of more poweful, 1000 hp ones.
The shipyard promises to introduce the yacht in September 2024, and hopes to start building the flagship of the series, the 38-metre UHV 125 superyacht, in the nearest future.
