Famous American shipyard, Lazzara Yachts, specializing in motor composite monohulls and catamarans, has become a new player in the superyacht market
Until recently the yachts built by Lazzara were under 30 metres, but now the shipyard has announced it has signed a contract for the construction of the Lazzara UHV 150, which is 150 feet (46 metres) long. In accordance with the contract, the superyacht is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2027.
UHV stands for Ultra High Volume: the internal volume of the Lazzara UHV 150 Superyacht is a little under 500 GT. The same range includes two more models: the UHV 90 with the first hull already in build, and the UHV 125, which currently exists only as a project.
The UHV 150 boasts a signature Lazzara exterior, with a bold, masculine silhouette and elongated glazing from bow to stern. As it is clear from the name, one of her standout features is the impressive interior volume. However, the area of exterior decks of this model is comparable to those of yachts in the far larger, 170-190 ft range. The yacht offers social area on three decks: the main one, the onwer’s and the flybridge, where there are lounging and dining areas and a jacuzzi, while below deck there is a spacious beach club. Moreover, there is also a gym and a massage room on board.
The Lazzara UHV 150's interior design was created by renowned London-based H2 Design Studio, and blends Art Deco and neoclassical themes. The yacht offers luxurious accommodation for up to 12 guests in six ample cabins, and there are five more cabins for a crew of 10.
The Lazzara UHV 150 features a fast displacement hull of advanced epoxy e-glass composite, which ensures longevity of the construction and safe transatlantic navigation. With the same goal in mind, the yard also equips the yacht with fully redundant global systems and commercial – and therefore more reliable – pod drives, which can also provide minimal noise and vibration.
