According to the shipyard, the ‘MXP’ stands for Mediterranean Explorer, but the reference is not suggestive of a cruising limitation of the design, but reflects the beach-club lifestyle typical of Med yachts
The four decks of the flagship vessel with an internal volume of about 498 GT offer quite a lot of luxurious exterior and interior areas. The focus was initially on creating the most comfortable conditions that are particularly important for long-range cruises.

The proven steel hull with a beam of 9.25 m, aluminium superstructure, a range of about 6000 nautical miles at a speed of 9 knots and fuel efficiency allow the Turkish shipyard to name the 47MXP a genuine explorer capable of travelling to the most remote parts of the globe.

One of the vessel’s highlights is the redesigned aft and beach club area, creating numerous opportunities for entertainment and relaxation by the water.
The fold-down balconies, lounge area with sunpads and outdoor furniture create an unusual space next to the pool aft, while there is a dining area in the cockpit and an al fresco bar.

Among other exterior areas that deserve to be highlighted are another pool with a waterfall at forward, the upper deck aft section that can be used for storing a tender or doing sports, and the sundeck that is home to a bar, a dining area and comfortable lounges with ample seating.

The interiors are owed to Hot Lab studio, which offered modern, but elegant aesthetics featuring warm and cozy spaces.

The layout allows for up to six cabins, generous social spaces and a master suite on the main deck with a private terrace.

The superyacht is powered by twin 1450 hp MAN engines, delivering a top speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

“This enhancement represents a significant step in our philosophy of blending adventure with unparalleled comfort. We don’t plan to build the new yacht on spec, but we already have some clients who are very interested in this new model,” said Ömer Malaz, Chairman of Numarine.
