The model appeared as a result of market and consumer research, and the construction of the first hull of the Sialia 45 Sport is to begin this summer
Thanks to the carbon fibre hull and two 300 kW electric motors the Sialia 45 Sport can achieve a top speed of 43 knots and cruise at 20-25 knots. With a standard set of accumulators, the range is about 70 nautical miles, but it can increase up to 164 nautical miles, when fitted with a range extender.
To develop the model the shipyard collaborated with Petestep and Denis Popov Design studios.
The manufacturers claim that the boat can be charged at any marina, and that she is the fastest-charging electric yacht on the market. Moreover, she is compatible both with AC and DC power. While on the water, she can accumulate energy with the help of integrated solar panels.
The yacht is available in three distinct trim levels, two layouts and three drivetrain options. Potential customers can choose the desired level of finish and material quality and opt either for the Sandbar featuring sport seating for six, or the calmer and aimed at relaxation Lounge layout. As for the drivetrains, Scout is best for coastal cruising, Performance is for those who are passionate about speed, and Range is suitable for longer journeys.
Below deck the Sialia 45 Sport has a small cabin and a lounge forward, which can also be used as extra berths. The passenger capacity is 12 people.
“We recognized a demand in the market for a smaller model that offers an electric experience at an easier entry point," explains Stanislav Szadkowski, Founder & CEO of Sialia Yachts. “Our decision stemmed from thorough market research, aiming to create a luxurious yet sporty boat capable of traveling from Miami to the Bahamas with a speed of 25 knots on electric power."
