About Absolute shipyard
Absolute shipyard was founded in 2002 by Sergio Maggi and Marcello Bè, who had worked together for a once famous brand Gobbi before that. Absolute formulated their main objective as to ‘search for new paths in design and ergonomics’. That is why the shipyard is not afraid of innovations both in boat design and equipment. Thus, Absolute became one of the first companies to mount Volvo Penta IPS on their yachts, when they just appeared on the market. Located in Podenzano not far from Milan, Absolute is one of the most hi-tech shipyards in Italy.
Highlights
Absolute Yachts’ specialization is production yachts with fiberglass hulls. The fleet includes performance planing models – flybridge and coupé , and semi-displacement Navettas, which are not very fast, but comfortable. The exterior and the interior of the yacht may be quite non-conventional: for example, trawler type superstructures on Navettas or trapezoid-shaped hull windows on the Flybridge line flagship. However, Absolute models are always distinguished by their functionality, well-thought-out layouts and attention to detail.
Achievements
Absolute yachts have received significant awards. Besides, the shipyard is known for first-class and trouble-free aftersales service: there’s easy access to all onboard systems and equipment on all models.
