About Galeon shipyard
Galeon was founded in 1982 in Gdańsk and is still a privately owned shipyard. All these years the company has been systematically expanding their model range and production facilities. Thus, to develop and produce larger models they built another factory in Wislinka with direct access to the Baltic Sea. Today Galeon Yachts is one of the prominent European yacht producers: their production and assembly facilities take up 36,000 sq.m, and there are about 1,500 employees working for the shipyard.
Highlights
Galeon Yachts manufactures an extensive range of motor yachts and sportcruisers of different types. The shipyard offers flybridge and hardtop models, as well as a Skydeck range with a sportbridge and bowriders of GTO line. Customers are also free to choose the propulsion that suits their goals and the water areas best: Galeon models are equipped with sterndrives, shaft drive, Volvo IPS or outboard engines.
Achievements
Collaboration with the esteemed British designer and naval architect Tony Castro has brought world fame to Galeon Yachts, and awards for design and ergonomics to the shipyard’s models.
