AB Yachts AB 95S
About AB Yachts AB 95S
This sports car on the water, launched by AB Yachts early in 2026, was created for the owners pursuing the thrill of pure adrenaline and the exhilaration of speeding on the water
Unlike the "civilian" AB 95 model, the sporty AB 95S features an aerodynamically optimised design, stripped of anything that might hinder high-speed performance. Every detail counts, so the key external differences from the AB 95 are a sloping windshield and the absence of a lounge on the hardtop.
The model’s length is 28.45 m, the beam is 6.8 m, and the draft is 1.35 m. The exterior and interior of the AB 95S are owed to Archea Associati led by Marco Casamonti, while the idea and naval architecture were developed inhouse.
The yacht’s planing hull and superstructure are of GRP reinforced with kevlar and carbon fibre, which reduces the yacht’s weight. The AB 95S’s key distinct feature is the opening hardtop roof, which allows one to fill the main deck saloon with natural light and air.
Exterior lounges on board the AB 95S are located on the foredeck, where there is an integrated sofa and a sunpad, and in the cockpit, which can serve both for sunbathing and as a space for socialising and having al fresco meals thanks to the adjustable table. There is also a beach club with a deep sofa-sunbed allowing one to relax right by the water.
The AB 95S features an aft garage that can accommodate a tender, as well as a jet ski and water toys.
The interior spaces include an open saloon on the main deck, comprising a lounge and a dining area. The three-seat helm station is separated from the saloon visually. Its central position indicates that the AB 95S is not just a yacht, but a racing machine.
Depending on the layout, there can be three or four cabins on the lower deck to accommodate 7 to 10 guests. In a the three-cabin layout, the full-beam master suite is located amidships, and the full-beam VIP cabin is brought forward, while there is a gally and a twin cabin between them. If the layout is four-cabin, most probably, the galley is moved to the upper deck to be replaced by the fourth cabin – but the yard has not yet officially confirmed this variant.
Each of the cabins is ensuite, and there is also a day head on the main deck. There are also two cabins for a crew of four forward.
Thanks to three MAN V12X engines of 2,200 hp each and three MJP water jets (one central booter and two steerable), the AB 95S can reach a top speed of over 50 knots. With a fuel capacity of 10,700 L, the yacht boasts a range of about 440 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 45 knots.
