AB Yachts AB 80
About AB Yachts AB 80
Capable of reaching an incredible speed of 54 knots, the AB 80 by Italian AB Yachts was first unveiled in 2020. Since then, she has undergone a few updates aimed at making her more relevant to clients
The AB 80 motor yacht is a flybridge, although the yard prefers to refer to it as a sundeck, as the helm station here is additional and is meant for manoeuvering at low speeds only. The model has a length of 25.4 m, a beam of 6.5 m and a draft of 1.35 m.
The AB 80’s exterior and interior were created by Acube Design. The naval architecture was developed inhouse.
The planing hull, as well as the superstructure, are made of GRP and reinforced with carbon and Kevlar in selected areas.
The interior spaces include a saloon on the main deck with a dining area and a lounge, as well as a galley that can be located either at the entrance to the saloon or next to the helm station.
The AB 80 can accommodate nine guests across four cabins, including a master cabin, a VIP and two more guest cabins below deck. There are five guest day heads and crew quarters for two.
The exterior lounges can be found in the cockpit with a large dining table and a sunpad, as well as on the foredeck with a sofa and a generous sunbathing area. The sundeck can be used for both for basking in the sun and for having al fresco dinners under the stars.
With three MAN V12 engines of 2,000 hp each and three waterjets (two steerable and one central booster) the model can reach a top speed of 54 knots. The fuel capacity is 9,000 L, which allows for a range of up to 400 nautical miles at a speed of 455 knots.
There is a garage that can accommodate two water jets or a tender and a jet ski.
