About Heesen 55m Steel FDHF

MY Reliance presented in 2023 is a traditional motor superyacht manufactured by Heesen Yachts shipyard from the Netherlands. She is one of several superyachts in the 55m Steel FDHF series

The length of the vessel is 55 m, the beam is 9.6 m, and the draft is 3.15 m. 

The exterior was developed by Omega Architects, and the interior was designed by Bannenberg & Rowell Design (Moskito, 2021) and Luca Dini Design & Architecture (Reliance, 2023). The naval architecture is by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.

The fast displacement hull is made of steel, while the superstructure is of aluminium. This solution allows her to achieve good performance and efficiency in various speed modes.

The internal volume of the vessel is 756 GT.

The interior space is made up of two saloons (on the main deck and the bridge deck), a galley, a wheelhouse, as well as crew quarters for up to 13. The interior space of the beach club can be modified to house a bar, a gym, a sauna or a massage room.

The 55m Steel FDHF provides sleeping accommodation for 10-12 guests in 5-6 cabins, including one full-beam owner’s stateroom, two double guest suites, two twin guest cabins and one optional VIP suite.

There are exterior areas on the sundeck with a pool, a bar and a dining zone, as well as on the aft of the bridge and the main deck.

Thanks to two MTU 8V 4000 M63 IMO Tier-III diesel engines of 1360 hp each the model can achieve a top speed of 15.5  knots. The fuel capacity is 98890 litres, which ensures a range of 4500 nautical miles at 13 knots.

There is a storage place for a 7 m tender and a jet ski on the foredeck.
