The Festival will open at 10 am on September 9 and will last for six days, during which the visitors will see new sailing and motor yachts from the yards all over the world, discover innovative equipment, technologies and premium services
“The Festival build started on 11 August and is progressing well: pontoons and tents are being set up to accommodate the boats and stands, thanks to the valuable support of our partners and service providers. As every year, the Cannes Yachting Festival opens the season with a particularly remarkable offering. More than 710 boats, including 150 world premieres, and around 670 exhibitors will be on display. Visitors will be able to discover the excellence of the boating industry, among renowned shipyards and equipment manufacturers, but also new players unveiling their creations”, said Sylvie Ernoult, the Festival Director.

To accommodate all the participants and visitors and make the exhibition easier to navigate, a few years ago it was divided into two parts. The first one is located in the Vieux Port, and the second one in Port Canto. The organisers explain this division by the need to optimize visitor experience and highlight the peculiarities of every boat and equipment. This year they promise it will be “extended and enhanced”.
The historical site of the festival, the Vieux Port, will be home to about 360 motor yachts ranging from 12 to 45 metres, including monohulls and multihulls. There will also be equipment manufacturers and various service companies.
Along the quays, visitors will discover a Tenders area, a Motoristes area, the “Power Cat Village” with 24 catamarans located at Quai Max and Village des Equipements (equipment and gear), occupying the entire Pantiero.
At Port Canto there will be about 125 new sailing vessels, both monohulls and multihulls, with an average length of 17 metres. The visitors will also discover an area of water toys, as well as the Power Boat Marina with 180 boats under 13 metres. The site will also be home to the brokerage sector, offering the visitors about 45 pre-owned yachts from 25 to 55 metres.

The second year in a row there will be an Innovation Route dedicated to eco-friendly technologies developed by shipyards and equipment manufacturers. The route identified by dedicated signage will allow visitors to find the most innovative solutions and thus promote more sustainable yachting.

Moreover, in 2025 there will also be Innovation Route Awards, covering four categories: enhanced navigation experience, sustainable technologies, propulsion systems/alternative energies, products/processes with low environmental impact. The winners will be announced on Tuesday 9 September 2025. Another Special Jury Prize will be awarded for the boldest project.
