Sardinia is one of the best yachting destinations in Italy and in Europe, so it is only natural that the region has always wanted to host a yacht show
The first show took place in 2022 in the city of Olbia and was a success, featuring 85 stands and over 100 boats. The show moved to Porto Rotondo in 2023, and that is where it is taking part this year from 30 April to 4 May 2025.
The fourth show is expected to be larger than the previous ones with 160 participants and over 200 yachts. The organizers are also hoping to beat the record of 18,000 visitors set earlier.
The show is a good business opportunity, as last year there were multiple boat and charter sales to clients and owners from both EU and non-EU countries.
The format of the Sardinia Boat Show is based on three pillars: showcasing Sardinia’s tourism appeal; promoting the region’s yachting industry to attract both national and international visitors; and hosting a series of thematic talks on both general and sector-specific topics in the recreational boating and tourism industries. This time, there will be no less than nine talks, covering a range of topics, including the sector’s economic and financial trends to training, analysis of nautical tourism data and green technologies.
Admission to the Sardinia Boat Show is free of charge.
