According to the shipyard’s representatives, project ALY501 built in Turkey has already been christened Atlantide and is expected to be delivered to her owner early in 2026
The dark grey metallic hull and the exterior that is unusual for a yacht of this size draw a lot of attention immediately. The Atlantide's extravagant exterior reflects the signature style of Vitruvius Yacht Design, with flowing lines and a bold mix of unconventional design techniques. The vessel's naval architecture is owed to Mulder Design.
Despite her rather impressive dimensions (a length of 50 m and a beam of 11 m), the superyacht features the proportions of a speedboat and looks really sporty. At the same time, there are obvious references to a sailboat’s construction too, with a low glazed superstructure, a vertical stem without a bulb and an open cockpit.
But the ALY501’s key highlight is her bow section. Her bow deck extends significantly beyond the sides, just like the those of aircraft-carriers. When the boat was launched, it became obvious, that this glossy part of the foredeck concealed the mooring fittings. When it is necessary to use them, fragments of the deck rise above them, and when underway, the anchors and winches are hidden beneath and don’t interrupt the perfect purity of the bow lines.
The yacht features a hull made of durable Alustar aluminium, while the superstructure is all carbon, which allowed for “extreme lightness” combined with “remarkable rigidity and efficiency”, according to the manufacturer. The Atlantide’s propulson system comprises three water jets, delivering a top speed 38 knots. The yard promises to reveal other technical details of the project later, when the sea trials are complete.
The details of the superyacht’s interior are currently kept under wraps, too, except for the internal volume of 498 GT, allowing for ample space on board and comfortable guest accommodation.
“ALY501 represents everything Alia stands for – innovation, precision, and emotion. She’s engineered to be light, fast, complex and fearless – proof that performance and luxury can coexist beautifully," said Gökhan Çelik, president of Alia Yachts.
