The Baglietto Т60 is a natural evolution of her successful predecessor, the T52, which won the World Superyacht Awards 2024 in the category of displacement yachts of 45 m and above
Baglietto made a decision to draw on this success and expand the T-Line. The larger model was unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show 2022 and was sold almost immediately: the keel for the first T60 was laid early in 2023. By the way, the second unit was sold in 2024 and is expected to launch in 2027. Moreover, two more contracts for the T60 were signed not long ago.
The exterior design of the line is owed to Francesco Paszkowski, who preserved such signature Baglietto features as black glazing and forward-facing buttresses, which add dynamics to the profile. However, in terms of functionality, the Т60 model has been enhanced significantly.
Thus, the upper deck, which is home to the master’s suite, may serve as the owner’s private terrace or a place for socializing: there is a dining area, a lounge and a sunbathing area with an optional jacuzzi.
The vast sundeck is really impressive: the terrace of 165 sq.m offers a great 360-degree view, while there’s also an outdoor lounge forward, a large pool aft with sunpads and a dining area with a bar sheltered with a hardtop.
There is two-level beach club here. The lounge with a pool and a bar “flows” naturally into a gym, complete with fold-down balconies on both sides. An impressive open staircase unites the lower level with the main saloon, featuring a glass wall, which can be removed completely to create a single space for socializing.
In collaboration with interior architect Margherita Casprini, Paszkowski used the internal volume of 1,000 GT in the most skillful way to create truly luxurious accommodation for up to 12 guests on board the Т60.
There are two suites and two VIP cabins on the main deck, while the fifth guest cabin is below deck and can be turned into a playroom or a gym as an option. The quarters for a crew of 13-14 people are located forward, together with the storage spaces, a wine cellar and cold rooms. There is also a garage for a seven-metre tender, a RIB and two jet skis.
Twin CAT 3512C engines of 2,250 hp can deliver a top speed of 16 knots, while at a cruising speed of 12 knots the T60 boasts a range of 5,500 nautical miles. In addition, the yacht is pre-fitted for hybrid propulsion.
“A launch is always a moment of great emotion because it crowns years of work and marks the realization of a dream — the owner’s dream, which becomes our own. Today, the emotion is also fueled by the awareness of having written another milestone in the history of this glorious shipyard,” said Diego Michele Deprati, CEO of Baglietto at the launching ceremony in La Spezia.
