The Andala appeared right after the L'Instant, launched in January, and there is another launch planned to take place before the end of the year
The exterior for the series is owed Stefano Vafiadis and his Studio Vafiadis, and it is no secret they were inspired by the automotive industry with its aggressive lines, impressive volumes and a “muscular” hull resembling a supercar. The naval architecture for the DOM 133 was designed by Baglietto Yachts inhouse. The hull with a length of 40.60 m and a beam of 8.70 m and the superstructure are of aluminium. Thanks to the small draft of 2.10 m the vessel can maneuver easily even in the shallow waters of the Caribbean. Twin Caterpillar C32 engines deliver a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 15.
The series’ name originates from Latin Domus that stands for “home”, which underscores the idea behind the project of a yacht as a real residence with all modern conveniences. For this reason, Stefano Vafiadis paid special attention to the layouts that promotes socializing and allows one to get the most out of the time spent at sea. Thanks to Giorgio Cassetta and his Cassetta Yacht Designers, the living spaces feel welcoming and cosy.

The Andala can accommodate ten guests across five spacious suites, including the master suite on the main deck forward. Below deck, there are five cabins for a crew of nine.
The interior spaces that are unexpectedly large for the boat’s size integrate seamlessly with exterior spaces: with the help of sliding doors the main and upper saloons can be united with the open decks, while the panoramic windows on both sides can open, turning them into terraces.
The Andala can boast a split-level beach club featuring an infinity pool with a descending bottom. There is also an option of installing another pool on the sundeck and an elevator to connect all the decks.
