The ALP belongs to Heesen’s successful 50-meter aluminium semi-displacement series
The exterior lines penned by Frank Laupman of Omega Architects emphasize speed and sportiness, while maintaining an elegant appeal. The yacht is capable of reaching a top speed of 23 knots, which is quite a lot for this class.
Heesen is one of the few shipyards in the world that can build aluminium hulls in-house in compliance with the highest standards. Aluminium welding is a difficult process, requiring technical skills, equipment and discipline. Precise engineering, exact construction and effective project management ensure that the weight control meets the strict requirements without any compromise on luxury.
It is interesting to note that the ALP (formerly known as Project Jade) was built on spec and found her owner only in February 2024, when she was at the final construction stage.
The ALP features a modern but cozy interior with a living space of 380 sq.m. Heesen’s in-house production allowed them to deliver all the necessary furniture fast and in accordance with the owner’s taste.
The outdoor spaces of the ALP are quite generous, too. There is an expansive lounge forward, a beach club at water level and an aft fockpit with a raised sunpad. Naturally there is an ample sundeck, partially protected by a hardtop and equipped with a bar, a jacuzzi and a dining area. The wheelhouse deck aft terrace is ideal for al fresco dining. Thanks to the sliding doors this space can be united with a skylounge, where there is another saloon and a helm station.
Thanks to her small draft of just 2.1 metres, the ALP is an ideal yacht for exploring the shallow waters of the Bahamas, while the length of 50 metres makes her perfect for entering most of the ports in the Mediterranean.
