The new model can boast not only a spacious upper level instead of a flybridge, but a next-generation propulsion system powered by the sun
The Silent 62 3-Deck is based on the popular Silent 60 model, but the overall length has increased by 60 cm. Instead of a conventional flybridge, now there is a “third deck”. It can be both open or completely enclosed. Moreover, there is a third option, when it is dedicated to the owner’s apartment.
The first Silent 62 3-Deck unit with a beam of 8.99 m and a draft of 1.34 m features an open skylounge on the third level, offering the guests an opportunity to get together and admire the panoramic views, have a meal or just relax in one of the lounge areas.
The saloon on the main deck is about 50 sq.m. In addition to the helm station, there is also a galley. The exterior spaces with various lounges are available both forward and aft.
Depending on the layout, the vessel can accommodate 10-12 guests in 5+1 cabins.
The Silent 62 3-Deck has the same propulsion system as the two flybridge Silent 62 catamarans launched last year. This next-generation transmission implements the latest liquid cooled batteries, with higher energy density, greater capacity and faster charging rates, thanks to optimised thermal management.
The energy is accumulated in the solar array 16.8 kWp and a a 286 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack with a range extender of 145kW Peak. The Silent 62 3-Deck is powered by twin 180 kW E-motors, providing a cruising speed of 6-8 knots and a transocean range.
The first Silent 62 3-Deck unit is scheduled for delivery within the nearest few weeks.
