Taiwan-based Horizon Yachts shipyard continues expanding actively into the US market

The new V77 model was tailored for the American market as quite a common flybridge yacht with some additional features. The V-series includes 68 to 80 ft planing yachts with a largely enclosed flybridge, turned into an upper saloon with a helm station and a dining area. In addition, these models feature a large and versatile aft cockpit, ideal for angling that is so popular in the US, as well as for diving and other kinds of water sports.

The new 23.47-metre Horizon V77’s cockpit was designed by fishing experts. It is equipped with rod holders, electric reel outlets, live bait wells and lots of storage space for serious fishing gear. The hydraulic fold-down transom makes it easy to get the catch on board, while the wet bar is a place to celebrate a successful day at sea.

There is a large saloon with a galley and a dining area on the main deck, and there are four cabins for eight people below deck, including a full-bream master cabin. The interior design features a neutral colour palette, wooden finishes and accents of stone.

As for the performance characteristics, no details have been revealed so far. But taking into account the fact that the Horizon V77 is equipped with twin Caterpillar C18A of 1136 hp, one can assume that like other V-series models she will reach a top speed of 22-23 knots.
