The Matilde 7 is Gruppo Antonini’s bold claim it is ready to conquer the new market of steel superyachts under 500 GT, dominated by large Italian and Northern European shipyards
The bespoke Matilde 7 opens the series of semi-custom yachts based on the Seamore 34 platform. The second unit is currently nearing the launch, while the third one is under construction.
The displacement hull with a vertical bow is built from steel, while the superstructure is aluminium. With a length of 33.5 m and a beam of 7.5 m, the Matilde 7 has an internal volume of 299 GT.
The decks were designed by Hydro Tec engineers with the idea of exterior and interior spaces “flowing” seamlessly into each other. Thus, the main deck boasts impressive 150 sq.m of open space, most of which can be closed off with the help of sliding glass panels. In addition, there are 160 sq.m on the upper deck, featuring lounges both in the enclosed part of the superstructure and outdoors, in the shade of a hard top.
The yacht’s interior design is owed to the yard’s long-time partner, Hot Lab studio. According to Antonini Navi, the interior features both strict, classic elements and such bright ones as ribbed textures, antiqued glass surfaces and panelling lacquered in pastel colours, which create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
More details about the Matilde 7’s interior and performance characteristics will be available in the autumn of 2026: the first Seamore 34 will be unveiled at the coming boat shows.
“The Seamore 34 is the concrete embodiment of our approach to full-custom yachts: the ability to develop every product from a blank sheet, supported by a solid, well-organised technical office and by a problem-solving mindset focused on the sole goal of the owner’s full satisfaction. This yacht has been designed to be reliable, functional and fully adaptable to the customer’s needs, without compromising on performance and build quality. At the same time, it showcases the skill and organisation of our production department, which has successfully translated the design into a beautifully built, high-quality yacht. The launch of the Seamore 34, the first yacht designed and built by Antonini Navi, marks our entry into a highly competitive segment, where we have positioned ourselves as a credible and capable alternative to other steel yacht builders working in this category,” said the yard’s co-founder and sales manager, Aldo Manna.
