The Austrian shipyard with a production facility in Italy offers high-end design, layout flexibility and modern propulsion system ensuring eco-conscious cruising
The SY80 is positioned as Silent Yachts’ most advanced and spacious model to date offering “premium levels of elegance and comfort”. Her bold modern exterior is owed to Italian designer Marco Casali.

In addition to the impressive interior volume, the yacht can also boast expanded layout flexibility, offering the owners a choice of three versions: SY80 Flybridge, SY80 Open with a hardtop and SY80 Closed in a two- or three-deck configuration. Each platform can be tailored to the owner’s needs both for coastal or longer-range cruising.

With a maximum passenger capacity of 12 people the owners can have a full-beam master suite on the upper deck (in a three-deck enclosed version) or have a saloon with a helm station here instead, while moving the master suite a level lower. Depending on the arsenal of water toys, the tender garage can be arranged differently, too, as there are storage spaces of different size in the aft sections of both hulls.

The catamaran is powered by electric energy coming from the solar battery capable of generating up to 22.4 kWh, while the energy is stored in lithium batteries of 522 kWh or 696 kWh depending on the modification.

The recommended cruising speed under electric power is 7-8 knots, and the top speed is 12 knots. In case of cloudy weather there are also two 145 kW diesel generators.

The SY80 Flybridge’s official premiere is scheduled to take place at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025, where Silent Yachts is also planning to remind the guests of two other models in its growing solar-electric series: the entry-level 10-metre Silent SY62 and the 37-metre Silent SY120 Explorer.
