111-metre megayacht by Oceanco completes technical launch

The superyacht currently code-named Y726 features the internal volume of 4550 GT, which makes her one of the largest vessels ever built by the shipyard

With a length of 111 metres, a beam of 16 metres and a draft of 4.5 metres, the Y726 to enters the Top 50 largest yachts in the world 

Work on the custom project commissioned by Oceanco’s repeat client began in 2022. Now the superyacht has completed her technical launch and is getting ready for sea trials, while the delivery is scheduled for the end of 2025.

The Y726’s classic refined exterior is owed to Espen Øino International studio, the naval architecture was developed by Oceanco’s inhouse team in collaboration with Lateral Naval Architects. 

“This project is the result of bold design ambition and robust engineering. Through close collaboration with Oceanco and the project's design partners, Y726 stands as a testament not only to engineering enabling design at the highest level, but also to the power of collaboration as a catalyst for excellence," said Lee Archer, programme director at Lateral.

The interior space of the megayacht was entrursted to designer Mark Berryman, whose signature features are understated elegance and greening throughout the vessel. In his opinion the Oceanco Y726’s is “family-focused”.  

The yacht will be ready to accommodate up to 28 guests and offer them winter garden, an outdoor cinema, a gym and spa area with a jacuzzi and a steam bath, a covered cocktail area and a beach club with a bar opening right to the swim platform. In addition, the owner’s private deck features another entertainment area, including a jacuzzi and a pool. The vessel can accommodate a crew of up to 34. 

The Y726’s provisional cruising speed will be 15 knots, and her maximum will reach 18 knots.
